the business center for new americans (bcna) helps immigrants, refugees, women, and other new york city residents achieve economic self-sufficiency and wealth creation. bcna does this through microloans and the on-going education and counseling clients to successfully establish and run small businesses, save money, and own homes. bcna provides microfinancing to start and grow businesses, and offers a variety of classes, workshops, and extensive one-on-one consulting. bcna staff assists clients with everything from the creation of a business plan, to obtaining the required licenses and permits to operate their business, to help with marketing and general business management.
