big brothers and big sisters of west island, established in 1975, provides life changing relationships to children who are struggling. many children today face challenges such as bullying, low self-esteem, and isolation. we match these children with a positive role model and, through quality one-on-one mentoring, guide them to overcome their obstacles and empower them to reach their full potential, forever changing the child and their community. big brothers big sisters of west island is a non-profit organization. we receive funding from centraide as well as west island community shares. a portion of our funding comes from people just like you who volunteer or assist us at various fundraising activities throughout the year. contact us to get involved!
