changing perspectives. changing lives. big brothers big sisters is not your typical organization. we help children realize their potential and build their futures. we nurture children and strengthen communities. we are a volunteer and donor supported organization that changes kids' lives for the better, forever. big brothers big sisters of muscatine county has been a program of the muscatine community ymca since 1994. our program partners with local companies and businesses to offer employees the opportunity to be a school based mentor. in our school based mentoring program volunteer "big brothers" or "big sisters" meet with their "little brother" or "little sister" once a week, for one hour, during the work and school day. our current volunteer partners include; hni, allsteel, the hon company, musco lighting, bridgestone bandag, first national bank of muscatine, central state bank of muscatine, kent corporation and members community credit union. if you work at one of these companies
