big brothers big sisters (bbbs) is the oldest and most effective youth mentoring program in the world. it was established over 100 year ago in the united states and currently operates in thirteen countries worldwide, helping over 280,000 children. our mission the mission of bbbs is to help disadvantaged children (“little”) to reach their full potential through professionally supported relationship with an adult volunteer (“big”). these friendships are carefully selected and professionally monitored matches. our vision children around the world realize their potential, creating a better future for themselves, their countries, and the global community.
