black & gold was founded by louise elder in september of 2010. we produce an amazingly flavoursome, cold-pressed rapeseed oil from our farm in the heart of the east lothian countryside. rapeseed oil is a principal source of omega-3 fatty acids, in ratio to omega-6. it has around ten times the amount of omega-3 than olive oil. it is a superb culinary oil and is championed by first class chefs throughout scotland..
