business advisory board was established to help small businesses make better product purchasing decisions. we do this by offering access to our greenbooks — low-cost, time-saving purchasing guides that include customized product recommendations. to create our customized recommendations, our analysts review products and rate their individual features. when a company pays for access to a greenbook, they become a business advisory board member and they are given the opportunity to schedule a one-on-one phone consultation with one of our analysts. our analyst works with the member to understand their unique needs. the analyst then combines our feature ratings with the member’s assessment to calculate customized product scores. these scores measure how well aligned the features of the product are to the needs of the member. the top 3 products are added to a “shortlist”. this “shortlist” is provided to the member and they can continue their research using our greenbook. the greenbook contain
