Business Council on Climate Change

the business council on climate change (bc3) is a public-private partnership between local government and the business community that works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in san francisco through collaboration and direct action. bc3 provides a platform for business-to-government collaboration on projects that support the achievement of local climate goals. some of the projects include increasing electric vehicle adoption, providing private sector feedback on proposed actions under the climate action plan, and facilitating the creation of a green tenant toolkit to enhance landlord-tenant engagement on sustainability. members of bc3 collaborate to share ideas and real-world case studies, identify valuable tools, and participate in educational forums to establish the best environmental practices for the city and county of san francisco. as a result, bc3 members demonstrate leadership, as well as drive economic growth, environmental sustainability and social well-being in our community
