for more than 30 years, bec has forged partnerships between businesses and schools to provide valuable hands-on learning experiences. our partnerships are especially critical for students that historically underperform due to poverty, racism and other overwhelming burdens that close doors of opportunity. through local, neighborhood partnerships bec brings business volunteers to classrooms in stressed communities, engaging them in hands-on learning they can connect to plans for their future. we believe educators and employers of all kinds can share our passion for preparing students in this way. it’s the educator in all of us.
