the career transition program provides assistance for personnel transitioning to mainstream or civilian roles and additional assistance for personnel transitioning to mainstream or civilian roles from highly skilled or specialised fields, primarily the defence force. the career transition program is designed to provide assistance to those in transition or who have commenced civilian employment but need further assistance or advice. services on offer will include: • identifying suitable industries for employment • assistance with identifying specific job opportunities • networking opportunities with local businesses • writing and/or updating your resume • writing cover letters specific to individual job applications • address selection criteria for job applications • identifying your transferable skills • translating trade specific language • translation of rank to equivalent supervisory levels • coaching on interview technique • mock (practice) interviews • benchmarking your salary (wh
