Butcher Photography

butcher photography (michael butcher) is a photographer based in washington, d.c. born and raised in christchurch, new zealand, michael attended canterbury university before traveling and eventually moving to the dmv. michael currently works primarily as freelance commercial and editorial photographer. he is a regular contributor to northern virginia magazine, middleburg life and covers events and galas for various organization. michaels images have been published in the washington post, washington life magazine, middleburg life, the guardian, npr, northern virginia magazine, district fray magazine, kennedy center website and cbs to name a few.
