butchers & bicycles is a new danish bicycle brand founded in 2013 by three design-engineers morten, morten and jakob. the ambition is to make sustainable quality products designed to make a difference within everyday urban mobility all over the world. the first product to enter the market is the ground breaking built to tilt™ cargo trike called mk1 - now available for families and companies in 16 countries across the globe. the mk1 is hand built to order by a small team of skilled and dedicated mechanics in the original meatpacking district in the heart of copenhagen. aside from the actual assembly shop, we also run a stylish showroom in an old 19th century stable building. all design, development, assembly and service is done in-house - to ensure the initial idea and ambition is carried through, all the way to the end user.
