Butterfly Conservation Society of Sri Lanka (Bcssl)

a group of butterfly enthusiasts decided to get together & create a 'working group' for conservation activity to actively help protect these wonderful creatures. so we created bcssl. we are focused on public awareness, educating interested parties, collaborating experts & enthusiasts, research & conservation activities. although bcssl is named for butterflies, its activities are not limited to butterflies. moths are one of the least studied areas in sri lanka. for the same reason, our team will extend its efforts to study the lepidoptera order.
