easy recipes for busy families, why was this so hard to find! hi, i'm jen. i'm a wife and working mom. i started meal planning about 6 years ago. my husband and i both worked full time and mine included lots of travel so what free time we had we wanted to spend together. trying to figure out what we wanted for dinner each night plus grocery shopping daily was not what either of us wanted to deal with at the end of a busy day. eating meals out multiple nights a week got expensive and unhealthy fast. i started researching meals to make through major recipe sites but when i made a recipe we liked i would often forget what that was. i needed a simple and easy way to keep track of recipes as well as a way to help me with planning for the next week or two. i wanted to shop once for the week and be done! this is how i came up with the idea for easy meals kitchen. i’ve taken recipes my family and friends love and found ways to make them faster and healthier. most of the recipes are low-carb or
