hi, my name is philip schønbaum. i’m the founder of easypiecy. in 2003 i founded a danish business (teoriundervisning.dk) producing educational systems for driving schools. early on i realised that many concepts were hard to communicate to the students. driving instructors used whiteboards and toy cars with magnets to illustrate. even so it was impossible to visualise moving vehicles, blind angles and many more subjects in the lessons. in 2004 i decided to produce a software that would illustrate these hard-to-grasp situations. the first software provided the same solution as the whiteboard – so nothing new and nothing extra helpful – just a digital replica of the whiteboard. in 2010 i made the first setup in 3d and published an app (boarddriver) for ios with scenes of traffic to show blind angles with no movement. more than 6000 driving instructors worldwide downloaded the boarddriver app! i still didn’t think the solution was optimal so i decided to push the limits once more … the ea
