Eburon Quintet

the belgian quintet, eburon, is founded of a group of young, dynamic brass players, each bringing forth to the music world their own vision and caliber of music making. the ensemble’s exceptional artistry captured the attention of many eminent figures in april of 2012, when the quintet was awarded first prize at the 8ème concours international de musique de chambre de lyon and received the special prize coup de coeur bayer. eburon will be collaborating with the palazzetto bru zane - centre de musique romantique francaise for the 2013-2014 season. some of their concerts will be aired live on radio france. in appreciation of their belgian heritage, came the idea of naming the ensemble eburon. in the time of the romans, the eburons found their home in belgium and were known for their unique “tactical” skills. similar to the eburons’ historical reputation, eburon’s playing can be described as brilliant, energetic and capable of producing the utmost beautiful musical expressions. showcasing
