our story starts in 2003 when our founder, brandon pitman, realized that he wanted to help others achieve their dreams. since then, we have learned that dreams come in a variety of shapes and sizes; therefore, our culture has been directed toward helping hopeful entrepreneurs and dedicated small business owners find their way. the desire to help small businesses began in kansas city, missouri, while brandon was working for a family owned restaurant in the city's river market. he worked for the family a total of four and a half years, and had the opportunity to see how the family connected with their patrons. during this time, brandon noticed a number of businesses in the same area open and close their doors without showing any signs of progress or development. this raised the question, "what are we doing that others aren't?" over the next 10 years, brandon continued working for small businesses, looking for more answers. he has seen the operating standards in a variety of industries fr
