the ecare medical eye centre is a community-based, ophthalmology-led medical eye clinic. we see up to 20% of patients who would otherwise attend the busy nhs hospital eye department, this means you can often be seen sooner and closer to home. we also operate at a lower tariff than the hospital eye department so together we are helping to preserve precious nhs funds. ecare clinics are led by consultant ophthalmologists ensuring the very highest levels of clinical care and patient safety. our clinical team use modern technological advances such as telemedicine and optical coherence tomography (oct) to maximise their skills and diagnostic ability. we pride ourselves on providing high levels of customer service. the nhs ‘friends and family test’ showed that 97.5% of patients would be ‘extremely likely’ to recommend our service to their friends and family.
