bernard’s wholesale florist is a long-standing and respected company, with over 30 years history in the floral industry in canada. bernard’s was founded in edmonton, alberta in 1975 by mr. fred bernard. fred worked out of his home, but even during these humble beginnings the company grew a solid reputation for well priced, quality flowers and floral products. in 1976, the company moved its operations to its first warehouse in south edmonton, but it quickly outgrew the 3000 square feet and moved to a larger location the following year. the company was purchased in 2007 by local interests in edmonton. today, with more than 20,000 square feet of space in edmonton, and operations in alberta, british columbia, saskatchewan, and manitoba. bernard’s has grown into the third largest wholesaler of fresh cut flowers and floral supplies in western canada. over the past 30 years, bernard’s has stayed true to its core values by building sustainable partnerships with floral retailers throughout west
