jacob’s ladder foundation is a non profit foundation that provides information and support to families of children with rare genetic conditions and contributes money to genetic research. we strive to ensure that children affected by rare genetic conditions are supported, valued, included, and given the opportunities to pursue fulfilling lives. our purposes . 1. to encourage networking amongst families and caregivers (and provide emotional support to families of rgc) 2. to advocate for improved education, high quality medical care, community inclusion, and future employment opportunities for children with rare genetic conditions 3. to empower affected children and families to become self advocates 4. to better educate the public about rare genetic conditions 5. to provide need-based financial support to families and caregivers 6. to maintain a clearinghouse of resources related to rare genetic conditions 7. to provide funding for research related to rare genetic conditions 8. to provide
