sonja gross, a native of iowa, grew up in the metropolitan atlanta, georgia area and earned her journalism degree from the university of georgia. she relocated to amarillo in 2005 to be closer to her husband’s family. in addition to fast-paced media careers spanning newspaper, radio and television, sonja has worked in corporate healthcare communications as a public relations manager, community education manager and publications manager and as a membership/marketing director where she successfully focused on member retention. today, sonja serves as the community relations coordinator for the city of amarillo. with a full-time job, sonja is selective in the amount and types of work she takes on through her sonja's ink professional copywriting services. specialties include social media management and marketing, website content development and speech writing and coaching. sonja is the immediate past chair of the amarillo chamber of commerce women’s council, serves on the amarillo women's f
