st. francis’ children’s society is a children’s charity and independent adoption agency. we make a difference to vulnerable children’s lives by finding them permanent families. based in milton keynes, we operate across buckinghamshire, bedfordshire, northamptonshire, hertfordshire, and parts of cambridgeshire and east anglia. currently in the uk, there are around 3,000 children in need of an adoptive family. sfcs’s adoption connections service (www.sfcs.org.uk/adoption-connections/) is rated 'good'​ by ofsted, and offers an open-door policy - we welcome all kinds of adopters for all kinds of children, regardless of age, race, cultural background, religion, marital status or sexual orientation. as well as finding new families for children awaiting adoption, we offer an extensive range of support services for adopters and their children, such as counselling, training and workshops, theraplay® and family support events. our birth connections service (www.sfcs.org.uk/birth-connections/) of
