St John's Organ Project

the organ at st john's notting hill has been fully restored. this was made possible via the many donations from individuals and organisations, including a £373,500 grant from the heritage lottery fund. the grant from the hlf enabled a programme of several activities to take place, including school visits and workshops (1,050 school children visited from 13 local schools), many sold-out concerts and events, two new permanent history exhibitions (researched by 20 volunteers), adult learning opportunities, and a video project for young people (age 13-21). more than 150 volunteers were involved with the project. the project began in may 2012 and ended in june 2015, with lasting activities taking place after project completion.
