st joseph's nudgee college (est. 1891) is a day and boarding school for boys in years 5 to 12, with a student population of over 1545, and growing. as a catholic school in the edmund rice tradition, the culture and values of the college are shaped by the touchstones of inclusive community, gospel spirituality, liberating education and justice and solidarity. the college is a member of the gps association and focuses upon providing a balanced holistic education. the academic culture of the college is influenced by art costa’s “habits of mind”, ensuring the empowerment, engagement and encouragement of students, staff, and parents. the college also has extensive sporting, cultural, and social justice extra-curricular programs, which staff are encouraged to partake in. the college’s campus is a combination of historical and modern buildings which provides the ideal facilities for our outstanding staff to offer a wide range of curricular opportunities for our boys. our facilities include, a
