st. margaret’s hospice is a registered charity which has been at the heart of somerset’s community, making each day count for 37 years. we strive to make each day count through the delivery of high quality, responsive, compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness. through our medical expertise, nursing skills and specialist support services, we provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to over 3,200 patients and their families each year. we put our patients at the heart of all we do; treating symptoms, controlling pain and caring for their emotional, psychological and spiritual needs. we support the whole family through a wide range of services such as intensive care in our in-patient units, care at home, complimentary therapies and bereavement support for those who need it. we also support a wide range of support to carers, young and old. we provide care and support for families and friends for as long as they need us. we rely on over 1,200 vol
