st. philip’s school and community center exists to enhance the lives of children and families regardless of economic background but with particular emphasis on low and moderate income families, through educational excellence, christian principles, and compatible community services. our school provides a rigorous academic program to students in grades pk2-6th grade. our curriculum emphasizes academic excellence, a positive self-image and a faith-based focus for life our community center partners with more than 60 organizations to provide critical services for more than 1,500 of its immediate neighbors annually. disd students participate in tutoring, mentoring, athletics, and after school and summer programs. senior citizen services include technology classes and access, transportation to grocery stores, pharmacies, and the post office, meals on wheels, and the re-discover dallas program. families have access to health screenings, dental services, legal services, educational workshop
