starlight grants once-in-a-lifetime wishes for seriously and terminally ill children aged 4-18 and provides an extensive programme of entertainment and distraction in hospitals and hospices across the uk. all of starlight’s activities are aimed at distracting children from the pain, fear and isolation they can often feel as a result of their illness and strengthening family bonds during difficult times by providing happy memories for everyone to share, no matter what the future may hold. starlight receives neither government nor lottery funding, we rely on the generous donations of people like you.
