Suffolk Young People's Health Project (4yp)

suffolk young people’s health project is a medium-sized local charity. also know as 4yp, we work in partnership to provide and co-ordinate services to improve the emotional, social, and physical health and wellbeing of vulnerable 12-25 year olds throughout suffolk. we encounter in excess of 10,000 young person contacts annually, offering wide-ranging services, for free at point of delivery, that fill a gap in provision and assist those who do not fit the criteria for conventional support. our provision promotes healthier, safer, more resilient lifestyles and better choices through practical support, advice, and guidance. these include youth work support/group work, drop-in workshops and activities, counselling, drug and alcohol advice and guidance, a sexual health clinic, volunteering opportunities, and shower, kitchen, laundry, and it facilities. with intervention and preventative support we address the issues pertinent to young people with the aim of reducing or removing short- and l
