wiley's online is the social media presence of wiley outdoor sports, also dba as wiley's trading company. wiley's is a small, family-owned outdoor and leisure company established in decatur, alabama in 1953. like many post wwii sporting goods stores, wiley's began as a loan and pawn shop on $500 at the corners of lee and bank streets and gradually added more and more sporting goods products to their inventory mix. in the 60's, wiley's became wiley loan & sales and then, wiley sporting goods, with stores in both huntsville and decatur. in 1976, the wiley brothers split the company with wiley sporting goods in decatur and wiley outdoor sports in huntsville. wiley sporting goods closed their retail operations in 1986 and wiley outdoor sports immediately opened another location in decatur. in 2010, wiley's closed their huntsville location and consolidated into their decatur superstore location where today it thrives. in 2016, wiley's enters into its 63rd year in business, having served sev
