beijing graphene institute (bgi) was born as a spin-off of the innovation graphene institute at the peking university in 2016, after 10 years of research work led by prof. zhongfan liu. bgi is committed to creating the world's leading graphene research institute and and industry base. january 2021, bgi company (bgi-c) been established. the purpose of bgic is , on the one hand, to commercialized the tailor-made graphene-based solutions, on the other hand, to promote the industrial products of cvd graphene. since its establishment, bgi has developed rapidly, with an existing r&d building of 10,000 square meters and a team more than 250 staff. the planned total investment in the next 10 years is 2 billion cny, with 800-1000 r&d researchers.
