stichting nyce is eind 2012 opgericht, met als doel een nieuw festival te organiseren voor noordwijkerhout en de bollenstreek genaamd 'loungefest'. naast het realiseren van het festival is het doel van de stichting dat bestuurders en vrijwilligers zich kunnen ontplooien en hun creativiteit kwijt kunnen in hetgeen waar zij kennis in hebben dan wel dit willen leren. in deze zin is stichting nyce ook een educatieve instelling waarbij men kennis op doet door het organiseren van een groot evenement. afgelopen editie (2016) trok loungefest 2500 bezoekers.
