beam is a student organization at binghamton university for students interested in pursuing careers in the digital media, tech, and entertainment industries. we focus on developing both technical and professional skills that will help members become competitive candidates for employment in these areas. members attend workshops related to search engine optimization, analytics, adobe design tools, commercial video production, internship navigation, and beyond. additionally, members can create content to display on their own online portfolios at www.bubeam.com, allowing recruiters and employers to learn about a candidate through a multidimensional, interactive web page.
