B-Scholarship

b-scholarship is a brussels-based nonprofit organization founded in 2011 by former students of the engineering school of the university of brussels (ecole polytechnique de bruxelles de l'université libre de bruxelles). that year, a 1000€ scholarship was awarded to an engineering student who went abroad for an internship placement. as of 2016, b-scholarship awarded a total of 25 scholarships to engineering and bioengineering students. we believe that a balanced curriculum of courses and professional experience is the best way to kick start a successful career. our goal is to help engineering and bioengineering students to get their first professional experience during their studies. b-scholarship awards two types of scholarships every year: b-abroad and b-start. b-abroad helps master's students performing an internship abroad whereas b-start helps bachelor's students performing an internship in a belgian start-up.
