we are a team of young, bright, starry eyed engineering students from kth, stockholm and we are designing a rocket payload which would be tested in microgravity. our project b2d2 (bistable boom dynamic deployment) aims to demonstrate high quality measurements of the earth’s magnetic field from a cubesat platform using a self deploying boom carrying two magnetometers. the team is participating in the german-swedish student programme rexus/bexus and our experiment is intended to be flown on the rexus 30 rocket in march 2021.
