the business for peace community development foundation also doing business as b4p codefound, is a liberian inspired 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, established in 2015 in the united states of america, incorporated in liberia in 2017, and is on a journey to promote political, social, and economic justice globally. we work with women and girls as target and primary partners living in contexts of poverty, violence, conflict, or post conflict situations as well as in diaspora communities where issues of immigration, reintegration and injustices hinder socio-political and economic mobility. we do so by fostering gender equality on all fronts and women’s empowerment at all levels. our concerns on the one hand include patriarchy and its impact on women and girls (ages 10-17) as it limits their potentials to become productive citizens, and on the other, the issues of sustainability of women’s work, intergenerational conflicts and leadership development gaps, as well as the limited capacity
