bacchus & brodie is a london based wine consultancy, personally curating wines with you in mind. wine and theatre have always been inextricably linked - just ask the god of both - bacchus. in her early 20s libby brodie was planning parties and bespoke events in london’s buzzing west end – from choosing wines for big boozy corporate lunches to carefully selecting the perfect champagne to accompany an intimate proposal. during her time at the old vic theatre, libby worked on countless events for high-profile philanthropists, celebrities, supporters and creatives. her career progressed to the west end, which in turn led to her launching her own theatre and film production company. alongside producing and general managing libby took charge of the opening nights and cast parties, balancing budgets but never forgoing flavour. throughout libby’s career as an events planner turned theatre producer, the god of theatre, parties and wine smiled down on her, inspiring her to train with the wset
