Bacil Donovan Warren

born at the end of the 1960s to a us army musician father, and music teacher mother, author bacil donovan warren traveled with his family from virginia, to california, arizona, georgia, and south korea before enlisting in 1987 in the us army. trained as an m1 tank crewman, he was stationed in the federal republic of germany and later at ft. bliss, texas. while at ft. bliss, his unit, the 3d armored cavalry regiment was deployed to saudi arabia as part of operation desert shield, and later participated in operation desert storm. after being honorably discharged from the us army, he attended the university of arizona. he worked in several jobs in it and computer technology, including at ibm and intuit, then began working for a private ambulance company as an emt (as valedictorian of his emt academy), and later became a paramedic (as salutatorian of his paramedic academy). he also graduated with honors with an a. a. s. in emergency medical technology-paramedic from pima community college.
