back home is a five piece band with lead guitar, fiddle, keyboards, bass and drums. according to the manager of the main watering hole in san juan capistrano, "back home is the best country band in orange county!" the band appeals to audiences of most age ranges, and particularly those in the 40 and up group, although back home has rocked many the house filled with 20 and 30 something's. the band's inception was in 2001, and since then back home has continually been a favored choice for entertainment at nightclubs, corporate and private events, fairs, car shows, festivals, and rodeos. a brief description of their repertoire and style gives an understanding of the band's broad appeal: they play hot country songs such as hits from johnny cash and elvis presley. then they kick off energy-filled country tunes from the likes of merle haggard, george strait, and allan jackson. everyone loves this band!
