as a child, i went through a myriad of possibilities when thinking of "what i wanted to be when i grew up". from librarian to astronomer... the list got longer and longer. but between the ages of 12 and 13, i fractured both arms, each on a different occasion. doctors visits, multiple x-rays taken, casts removed, but i still could not move my arms! and then i was refered to my saviour....a physiotherapist. she not only made me comfortable and eased my pain....she got me to have full movement in my arms again! and these are the same arms that i now use, not only to ease the pain and discomfort of my patients; but to assist them in doing the things they love again...the things that injury and disease prohibitn were it not for the hands of a physiotherapist. to ensure that i provide professional and evidence based care to my clients, i not only received my entry level physio education at the university of the west indies, jamaica; i received my post-graduate doctorate at utica college, n
