our mission: “slow down and taste the sweet life” to offer savannah a better place for food, community and customer service. a happy place to relax with friends & family enjoying good conversation and food. artisan bakery, lunch spot & espresso bar. cheryl and griff are true american bakers who dreamed of opening a bakeshop together making everything from scratch. they opened there business on a bare-bone budget with a lot of hard work and an ambition of blind faith. together they have created what is known as the “best little bakery in the south”. cheryl and griff had the dream of opening a bakery with a binder full of heirloom family recipes and wanted to create a food landmark. they created a bakery with an emphasis on quality food, great coffee and community. after the ups and downs of running a business and years of hard work, back in the day bakery is now recognized as one of the “must-eat-at-places” in savannah.
