back to humanity (bth) is a new york city based non-profit whose mission is to facilitate holistic rehabilitation for sex trafficking survivors. we provide resources essential for professional development, healing and empowerment. we advocate that true rehabilitation addresses the mind, body and spirit and that only a multi-faceted approach can begin to repair the extensive physical and psychological trauma faced by survivors. effects can range from depression to post-traumatic stress disorder. unfortunately, there is a lack of necessary resources available to help facilitate holistic rehabilitation, and therefore back to humanity has developed meaningful programs to support survivors. bth believes that providing holistic rehabilitation that is sustainable requires collaboration between city agencies, non-profit organizations and abolitionist advocacy groups in our community and therefore we integrate our programming into existing efforts with our partners. we are proud of the role
