since 2016, ian nyquist and oli hazley have been musician/sound design collaborators at the head of backgammon media. they write and produce original music for cinema, radio, television. a range of our work to date includes: • composer for calor gas tv ad campaign • composer for galaxy online ad campaign • sound designer for 2018 winter olympics • composer for podcast, “rev. billy & the stop shopping choir” ian graduated from the arts university bournemouth in 2015 with a bachelor honours degree in fine art. specialising in sound and music, ian has produced and composed both music and sound art for a broad range of work including theatre performances, film, and independent council-funded projects. oliver graduated from trinity with a masters in music and media technology in 2015. since then he has worked as a clubnight organizer and dj, as well as for the irish association of contemporary composers. through mmt and interning with sponge music, he has developed a keen interest in comp
