backward flag brewing co. is a craft brewery located in forked river, nj owned by u.s. army veteran, torie fisher. backward flag was founded in 2015 and is one of few female-owned, veteran-brewed craft breweries in the country. our motto is, "cheers to us, and those like us!" celebrating our community of veterans of military, police, fire and rescue. backward flag is a proud member of the new jersey craft beer association, and serves beyond the tri-state area. backward flag is also a proud supporter and facilitator of arms 2 artisans, a non-profit dedicated to fostering the successful transition of post 9/11 veterans from military service to post service life through an artisan skills program by providing education, experience and a network of peer support.
