baere longboards began in 2015 with the simple idea of adding color to our own lives in the most creative and most california way possible, to live colorful. in the bay area, we’re not only surrounded by a melting pot of culture and excitement, but also fantastic weather, scenery and sunsets. when we began designing our boards, we wanted to reflect the same optimism and color that we get to see every single day. whether we’re returning from a parade in san francisco or hiking in the santa cruz mountains, we have always felt a colorful connection to this wonderful area. the radiant sunset, the sparkling ocean, and the ebullience of the people remind us to keep pushing to find and express ourselves openly and uniquely. with each board, we strive to express ourselves in quintessential california fashion. each board is carefully and individually hand-crafted by our own staff, each with their own special roots in the area. our workshop consists only of natural, long-lasting paints and each
