Baghdad Kites Carnival

the carnival was founded in 2017 by young volunteers from all levels of society. the main goals of the carnival were to correct the life image and the world view of baghdad and to change the wrong content spread on the internet. the carnival team seeks to create a youth environment away from all conflicts, an environment in which young people can learn, create, and make change. it's also proof that iraqi society is able to coexist peacefully. the kite was chosen because it is an interactive sport that makes amateurs interact with each other and break the barriers that have been imposed on them. and because the festival and the working team are keen to make an impact on iraqi society and its youth. all this was done with the participation of 300 volunteers each season from all over iraq. approximately 1,500 families, young people, and children attended the previous season, and we're happy to announce its 5th season.
