Bags of Hope Uk

bags of hope uk is a not for profit organisation which aims to improve the experiences of children and young people in the care system. bags of hope uk was established in 2017 to address the needs of children and young people who are moved within the care system with their possessions stored and transported in bin liners and shopping bags. we feel that this is completely unacceptable and that children, young people and their possessions should be treated with dignity and respect. we are fundraising to provide bags, suitcases and holdalls to children and young people to prevent the use of bin liners. the organisation is run by a dedicated team of volunteers based in south wales with professional backgrounds in social work, youth work, advocacy, counselling, education, fostering and domestic abuse services.
