as part of its efforts to contribute to social transformation, the bahá’ís of india participate in public discourses related to the betterment of society. working shoulder to shoulder with various groups and organizations, the community strives to contribute to the advancement of thought in areas such as the equality of women and men, the role of religion in advancing the common good, media and social cohesion, peace, good governance, well-being of families and development. the office of public affairs of the bahá’ís of india as an official representative of the indian bahá’í community, collaborates with other social actors in finding unifying and constructive approaches to advancing thought in a range of areas vital to social progress. the office is located at the national bahá’í centre and has a presence for public information at the bahá’í house of worship in new delhi.
