bahasa basudara is a free online language learning service, provided by moluccans who live across the globe, to improve the language skills of moluccans across indonesia with limited access to fluent and/or native foreign speakers. bahasa basudara consists of a community of volunteers that connects moluccans worldwide, who are helping each other by sharing experiences and knowledge. it includes the concept of "ale rasa beta rasa" and "sagu salempeng bage dua," said founder jeff malaihollo. the students learn a foreign language from fluent or native speakers and in this way the tutors directly contribute to improving the language skills of young people in the moluccas and at the same time learn about life and culture in the moluccas itself. up to date bahasa basudara offers over 100 classes 7 days a week. the lion's share of the classes are in english and a small part is german. there are now 100 tutors from all over the world; america, oman, united kingdom, australia, netherlands, n
