who we are chairman’s message vision and mission board members who we are the bahrain property development association (bapda) is a non-profit organization established in 2010 who has become the kingdom of bahrain's recognised property development association. it is a representative organisation that fosters infrastructure services, cooperation, fair trade practices and integrity among its members, while providing a platform for members to liaise with the government authorities in forming best practice policies relating to the industry. at a meeting held to launch the organization and attended by 17 ceos and senior management officials from major development companies in the kingdom it was agreed unanimously on the need for such an organization that would serve to bring them together effectively to benefit the industry in bahrain. a board of directors was elected with mr. aaref hejres, former managing director and ceo of diyar al muharraq, as chairman of the board, dr hassan al bastaki
