balance behavioral health is a new psychiatry practice in sandy springs, with a vision for improving access to mental health care. our goal is to give our clients a new experience in psychiatric care. we believe each person deserves an experience that respects their individual needs and places mutual respect as the foundation of treatment. our approach to each therapeutic relationship is based on humanistic psychology, and then applies the science of psychiatric medicine. the philosophy of balance is to envision the client as a "whole person" that is greater than the sum of their diagnosis. we encourage self-exploration, self-awareness and mindfulness, in addition to the use of psychoactive medications, to empower clients in overcoming mental illness and unlocking their full potential.
