balkan architectural biennale - bab is a cultural organization with the main purpose to organize and manage events in the field of architectural, urban design planning theory, art and practice. bab is widely supported by the ministry of culture and information of the republic of serbia, serbian chamber of engineers, the yugoslav film archive, faculty of architecture in belgrade, collective for the integration of space and architecture. since 2011, is traditionally held biennially, during the third week of december, with many accompanying exhibitions over the year. as a regional project, bab creates a framework for the creativity in the area of architecture, urban design, and art, offering clear support to the activities and efforts aimed to the region’s further cultural development.
